Covenant Care Services founders Warren and Becky Reagan had a daughter named Ashley who was diagnosed as an infant with uncontrolled grand mal seizures. As Ashley grew to be an adult, she was still only able to function at the level of an eighteen-month old. However, through the help of programs such as the ones provided through Covenant Care Services, Ashley was able to live a very happy and comfortable life with her family in the privacy of her own home. But the family still saw one obstacle; With Ashley’s disabilities, it was difficult for her to have any interaction outside of her home. Realizing that their daughter Ashley was losing touch with the community and her social skills, they decided to open an Adult Day Health Care.  The Reagans desired to provide an environment for people who shared Ashley's circumstances to continue to develop their social skills with group interactions. This environment would allow the primarily home-bound person to be able to interact in the community once again. They decided that there was no better name for the new Health Care center than Ashley's Place.
